MÁRGENES LAFAMILY: LAS FÁBULAS ANIMADAS DE EVELYN LAMBART
Domingo 24 de noviembre ~ 12:00 ~La Casa Encendida
This session celebrates Canadian animation pioneer Evelyn Lambart and her animal fables, featuring stories by Aesop as well as her own. Lambart employed the technique of paper cutouts transferred to lithographic plates, which were then painted and animated. Illustrator Elena Hormiga leads the session interactively, presenting each piece in a guided way to reveal the secrets of this technique and the morals of the fables.
Evelyn Lambart (Ottawa, Canada, 1914 - Sutton, Quebec, 1999) is one of the most important Canadian animation filmmaker of all time.
