Plot
Mar is a young girl whose parents have just got divorced and whose holidays are the strangest and most boring of her life. Her father has decided to take her to the village in Aragon where he grew up but which he had never spoken to his daughter about, a half-abandoned place located between the Ebro and the Monegros desert. The relationship between the two has not been easy, so Mar prefers to take refuge in the legends of war and the young people of the place, who relate to a different set of rules to the ones she knows. Mar will discover a place that is more fascinating than it seemed and she will get closer to her father to try to make peace with him and with the history of the village.

She studied Audiovisual Communication at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Modern Languages and Literatures at the Universitat de Barcelona. She is editor of the short film Celebració (2016) and co-directed the documentary El que no ens fa diferents ( 2016). She has taught several audiovisual workshops in schools and institutes in Barcelona and currently teaches film at a secondary school. Les Perseides is her first feature film.
Alberto Dexeus Gonzalvo
Director, guionista y montador. Ha estudiado Comunicación audiovisual en la Universitat Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona, Dirección cinematográfica en la Universidad del Cine de Buenos Aires y Documental de creación en la ENERC, también en Buenos Aires. Es director, guionista y montador de la serie 5 minuts tard (2017-2019), creada para betevé dentro del espacio Tube d’assaig. Ha codirigido también el cortometraje Monocigótico (2015). Su primera película Les Perseides, codirigida con Ànnia Gabarró, se estrenó en BAFICI, FICXixón y l’Alternativa, entre otros. Todos los días domingos es su último corto. Se estrenó en el DOKLeipzig y Ji.hlava Festival de Documental. Ganó la Biznaga de Plata Premio del Público en el festival de Málaga. Casa feta de boira es su primer largometraje documental y su debut como director en solitario.
