Plot
In a cheaply built apartment in the neighborhood of La Bordeta, at the crossroads between L'Hospitalet and Barcelona, the author records the movements of her partner, Altea, in the last weeks before she was forced to leave the building due to rising rent prices.
La distancia exacta gives a glimpse of how our personal relationships are subordinated to material conditions that surpass us.

Clara Aguilar
Clara Aguilar (Logroño, 1997) is an art historian and visual artist. She has been trained in scenic creation and artistic research and contemporary choreographic movement. Ensayo de un accidente is her latest solo exhibition. At the same time she is co-creator of the performing arts production company Las Amigas. Her work covers mainly the field of memory, the domestic archive, the politics of affection and the child imaginary, through the use of installation and visual language, the exploration with materials and performance. She develops creative processes that ride between theory and practice, characterized by the hybridization of its forms. Experimental video is presented as a process of configuring stories from the recording of everyday scenes.
