Plot

A dreamlike poetic video performance that brings together a series of urban legends, stories and personal memories about the river Besòs (Sant Adrià del Besòs, Barcelona) shared by the residents of this neighbourhood.This collaborative work is the result of a series of workshops that the artists held during the month of May under the Passadors bridge, which became the central stage for the piece.

Rosa Tharrats

Rosa Tharrats (Barcelona, 1983) is interested in the sensorial and spiritual communication between different species of materials and bodies. Her work usually starts from fabric to expand into installation, sculpture or performance. The practice of meditation and the application of rituals is often a common aspect of her work. Other recurring elements in her practice are the concepts of transformation, symbiosis or the natural-artificial relationship. His work has been exhibited at Manifesta 15 (2024), Liste Art Fair Basel (Basel 2023), TBA21 (Córdoba, 2022), Art-o-rama (Marseille, 2022), Centre d'Art Maristany (Barcelona, 2022), Zona Maco (Mexico DF, 2022), MACBA (Barcelona, 2021), Ehrhard Flórez (Madrid, 2022 and 2018), CCCB (Barcelona, 2021), Museu de l'Empordà (Figueres, 2021), Bombon Projects (Barcelona, 2020,2024), Arco Madrid (Madrid 2019), Apulia Land Art Festival (Italy, 2017) or Cadaqués Gallery (Girona, 2015).

Gabriel Ventura’s multifaceted writing practice has embraced poetry, prose, interviews, narrative fiction, scripts and the epistolary form. The visual and scenic arts have always been central to his thinking and making, whether through the imagery that accompanies his publications or in his collaborations with filmmaker Albert Serra and artists such as Enric Farrés Duran and Rosa Tharrats. He studied Humanities (2011) and Comparative literature, art and thought (2013) at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. He has published Apunts per a un incendi dels ulls (Documents Documenta, 2020), W (Edicions Poncianes, 2017) and Ignar (Edicions Poncianes, 2013). He has given readings and performances at festivals and venues including Barcelona Poesia (2021) and the Biblioteca de Catalunya (2020). In 2018 he was awarded the Montserrat Roig Writing Grant and since 2019 he has been Associate Professor of Creative Writing at BAU Design College, Barcelona.
