Plot
A Birdland fantasy, by animation artist Evelyn Lambart, about a bluejay who takes whatever his beak can grasp and carry. Into his secret cache go berries, birds' eggs, nests and all. Even the sun in the sky is unsafe from his consuming greed. But, as in her film Fine Feathers, there is a moral tucked away. The bluejay learns a lesson, and Birdland returns to normal.

Evelyn Lambart
Evelyn Lambart (Ottawa, Canada, 1914 - Sutton, Quebec, 1999) is one of the most important Canadian animation filmmaker of all time. She was the first woman to enter the animation section of the National Film Board of Canada. She integrated into the Norman McLaren work team, she co-directed such important works as Begone Dull Care, Lines:Vertical or Le Merle. In her solo career, the animator opted more for animation with paper cutouts and returned to the construction of more classic stories.
